Founding Partner waitlist

Partner with Next Matsuri

Help more people plan Japan around its festivals.

Next Matsuri is an upcoming, planning-first guide to festivals across Japan. We are building one clear place for travellers, residents, and festival lovers to discover Japanese festivals by date, location, and type, with transparent date status, official sources, and practical visitor information.

We are currently inviting festival organisers, tourism offices, destinations, and travel partners to join our Founding Partner Waitlist, ahead of public launch.

Why join before launch

Festival travel is planned months ahead

Visitors often need dates, access information, tickets, transport, and accommodation details well before they decide where to go. Next Matsuri is being built to help answer those questions earlier and more clearly.

By joining the waitlist, you can:

Receive updates before Next Matsuri launches publicly

Be first to hear about future partner opportunities

Share official information about your festival, destination, or service

Help us understand what visitors need when planning

Be considered for Founding Partner opportunities once the platform has launched

Connect with a specialist platform focused entirely on Japanese festivals

There is no cost and no commitment to join the waitlist.

Who it's for

Organisations connected to Japanese festivals and festival travel

Festival organisers and committees

Local tourism boards and city offices

Prefectural tourism organisations

Hotels, ryokan, and accommodation providers

Rail, bus, ferry, and other transport providers

Ticketing platforms, travel brands, and tour operators

We review applications to make sure future partnerships remain relevant and useful to our readers.

What's ahead

What future partnerships may include

We are still shaping our first commercial offers. As Next Matsuri grows, partnership opportunities may include featured festival listings, seasonal and regional destination spotlights, Journal partnerships, newsletter features, social media collaborations, and relevant affiliate or booking partnerships.

Any paid partnership will be clearly labelled. Editorial information, official sources, and date status labels will remain independent.

Accuracy comes first

Organisers and authorised representatives do not need to join the waitlist to submit corrections or official updates.

If you spot outdated information on a festival page, please use the Report an error option on that page. Next Matsuri reviews and publishes updates independently to keep information clear and reliable for readers.
